Since its founding in 2014, Sam's Air Control has been committed to master customer service, quality work, and an overall pleasant customer experience and has grown and evolved to become a leading HVAC company serving Metuchen, NJ and surrounding areas.
2014
- Alik starts Sam’s Air Control
- Named after his older son Sam
- Begins working part time on the business while working for other companies as a sub
September 2015
- Sam joins the company at 14 years old
- Sam begins online marketing & dealing with pricing & selling
- Alik & Sam would do all the work themselves, Alik primarily in the field and Sam on the phone/computer
- In 6 months the company becomes a full fledged independent contractor
January 2016-2018
- Sam’s is awarded their first 100k+ commercial installation contract
- First part time employee is hired (a helper)
- Second van is purchased
- Their first “shop”. In truth, this was a 10×14 shed in the backyard of their family home. This was used to store stock and materials.
- The business stays at this size for the time Sam is in high school
2019
- Sam graduates high school
- First full time service technician hired
- First full time installer hired
- Third, Fourth, and fifth van were purchased
- First office lease is signed, although the shop remained in the shed, Sam worked out of a one room office on Main St, Metuchen
2020-2022
- Sam’s begins to grow it’s brand and become recognized as a reputable contractor in the community
- Move into a larger office with a small warehouse on Middlesex Ave, Metuchen
- Hire first Installation crew and Alik begins to step out of the physical work
2023:
- Currently at 10 vehicles and an awesome team
- Expanded existing Metuchen location to grow and serve more of our neighbors
