In home sales position at a busy fast growing family owned and operated HVAC company. Minimal HVAC knowledge is required, we will train sales procedures if needed. Position is ideal for a seasoned comfort advisor, or an HVAC technician that is looking to get out of the field, but stay in the industry. We pride ourselves on educating customers with their options and to remain truthful about every situation. Your job will involve:

• Receiving warm lead requests, vetting lead information, calling leads, and scheduling your own estimates.
• Performing sales calls and guiding a customer in the process of purchasing a new HVAC system. Closing sales.
• Expectations will be 4-7 contracts signed per week.

You will be working in conjunction with the owner and sales manager.

Requirements:

• Personable and clean presentation in both speech and appearance
• Good knowledge of English both in speech and writing.
• Must be able to understand how pricing works and it’s variability
• Good negotiation skills and customer service
• At least an apprentice level knowledge of an HVAC system set up
• HVAC Field expertise preferred

We are searching for a dedicated and eager individual to join our company. This will be a transitioning roll with a direct growth plan to becoming the office manager. This is a full time position where you will be working both alone and together with the company director. Role will start out with follow up on marketing leads and slowly evolve into being responsible for all office procedures and interactions. Including: schedule and dispatch service appointments, take messages, billing, Quickbooks, AP, A/R, phone answering, personnel management.

This position requires the ability to talk over the phone in an engaging manner, polite attitude, standard knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), and general computer skills. We will train you on all tasks, but you must be a fast learner and quick to adapt. Small office environment. Expected to complete tasks as needed without direct supervision.

We are searching for an eager individual with minimal to intermediate residential HVAC service experience. The primary functions of this technician will be to assist the Senior HVAC technician in major repairs and complete your own service calls. Additionally, this position will be responsible for completing all HVAC maintenance calls in the company. Must be able to understand system functions, the operational flow of equipment, and be intuitive. Looking for overachieving individuals that want to grow with our company. Responsibilities

• Be able to properly diagnose and repair HVAC systems
• Provide excellent customer service
• Travel to job sites in a radius of 40 miles from Metuchen, NJ and maintain your schedule as assigned (with company truck).
• Assist customers in evaluating services
• Additionally must be able to service light commercial systems (preferred)

Job Requirements

• 2+ years experience in residential service (HVAC)
• Experienced in Central A/C & Gas Furnaces
• Must be able to diagnose refrigerant levels, gas/burner related errors, control errors, electrical components and power connections, and be able to work with sheet metal slightly (or eager to learn).
• INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE is a PLUS.
• Respectful and clean self presentation
• Possess and maintain a valid and clean driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Fluent English
• RUSSIAN SPEAKING IS A PLUS

We are an HVAC company currently primarily focused at residential and light commercial retrofit work. The company is seeking to gain more commercial business and needs a commercial HVAC sales savvy manager. We are providing our current resources that can be directed towards commercial work. Our company has completed numerous large commercial installations and is 100% capable of handling volume.

Someone with commercial contacts is preferred. We can provide leads, but those already connected in the industry are ideal to help with growth.

Responsibities

• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
• Responsible for estimating, design, application support, purchasing, submittal review and job coordination
• Accurately estimate plans & specifications to design/build HVAC systems using computer estimating systems and other related software
• Experience in obtaining and evaluating material, direct labor, manufacture equipment pricing and subcontractor quotes
• Evaluate plans & specifications, and have the ability to identify discrepancies and have an understanding of how to address them accordingly
• Establish and maintain vendor relationships
• Perform site surveys and attend pre-bid walkthroughs
• Ability to manage multiple bids throughout the entire bid process simultaneously
• Possess the ability to evaluate changes, and adapt quickly throughout the bid process
• Assist in building out the commercial department at Sam’s Air Control

Qualifications

• Five years minimum of commercial HVAC experience
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Hold an active driver’s license, and an ability to maintain reliable transportation
• Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
